RACE TECHNICAL SALES POSITION

C&S Specialties has an immediate need for a Technical Sales Associate.

We are a leading researcher and innovator in carburetor and racing fuel systems technology.

We seek an aggressive, result-orientated professional who desires a high level of accountability in a very competitive industry. Position will be based at our St. Charles, Missouri location.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• The ideal candidate will possess a unique combination of direct involvement in the racing industry, prior sales experience and extensive technical knowledge.
• Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field racing activities.
• Identify sales prospects, develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
• Identify and resolve client concerns. Assist clients with technical assistance.
• Participate in marketing events, trade shows, racing events and telemarketing events.
• Computer knowledge to manage email/internet sites and racing forums.
• Sales order entry and coordination to completion and shipment of product.

• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to persuade and influence others. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
• Work requires travel to current and potential clients. This requires the possession of a valid drivers license.
• Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Working conditions are normal for an office/factory environment. Work requires some local travel and may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
