![]() I would like to thank all at C&S for the killer carburetor. I asked for and got the greatest!!! I received the carburetor, installed it and have had nothing but great times ever since. Your customer support and quick service has been above any of my experiences in the world of performance and racing for sure. I had to do only very minor jet changes to get this thing spot on for the combo. That is impressive to say the least. Trust me when I say this car turns heads at the pumps when I pull in, fill up and cruise it right to the track. Thanks again for all you've done. |

On gas the Ford ran a best of 9.67. On E85 it tore out the Powerflide's gearset at 900 feet and still ran a 9.26. |

Leonard’s rookie year was 1977, he has the most wins by a single individual with a total of 18. Elapsed time this year was 11:30.536 which was a personal best. Clint has the distinction of being the only driver with 11 consecutive wins in any division and has amassed a total of 14 consecutive
1st place wins and one 2nd place this year when he had a cracked cylinder wall. Both qualified quick time. Together the father/son team has accumulated 32 wins surpassing the father/son team of Bobby Unser Sr. and Robby Unser with a total of 22.

Yes it’s a C&S 4150 style carburetor designed specifically for E85 blow thru applications. Besides the fact that this C&S Aerosol Billet carb uses a single fuel discharge tube rather than a booster, also note the trick float bowls. To flow the massive amount of E85 necessary to feed 1,000-plus horsepower that’s an electric needle and seat assembly for both the primary and secondary float bowls. Sensors in the float bowl signal a drop in level and the needle opens up to deliver more fuel. Delivering all of this liquid horsepower is accomplished by a mechanical Aeromotive pump and boost referenced pressure regulator. To ensure an accurate fuel load, Tim mixes his own version of E85 using E98 or pure ethanol base stock. --By Jeff Smith |
